The 2023 DMS Spelling Bee was held on January 12. Congratulations to eighth-grader, Jannatul Mow, who correctly spelled the word, "predecessor," to claim the title of Champion. Grace Stuber, grade eight, placed second in the event. They will advance to the regional spelling bee this spring. Twenty spellers competed in this year's competition. Congratulations to all the finalists!
