Students at Cayuga Heights Elementary are trying to make Valentine's Day a little brighter for some of the oldest members of our community.
The children made cards as part of Assemblyman Pat Chludzinski's "Valentine's for Seniors" Program. The program aims to teach children about the challenges of loneliness, isolation and emotional well-being among the senior population.
Assemblyman Pat Chludzinski visited the students on Friday while they made the cards, then took the cards with him to drop off to local seniors.
