An important factor for student success in school is to have open lines of communication. Parents of students in grades 6 through 12 have the opportunity to stay on top of student grades and work through the use of technological tools.

One such tool is the PowerSchool Parent Portal. All parents of students in DMS and DHS have access to individual grades as well as class averages throughout the year by using the portal. The portal offers a number of features that may be of use for parents:

Parents with multiple students can view all student achievement through a single login
Parents can view class averages, or click on an individual average to see all assignments
Parents can click on the teacher's name to send an email
The portal can be set to send an automatic email with grade updates on a regular basis, based on your preferences

\r\n

Account set up information for 6th through 12th-grade students is available by contacting the counseling center at either Depew High School (686-5069 or 686-5076) of Depew Middle School (686-5055). The secretaries in those offices will be able to mail you the letter, complete with set-up instructions and login credentials.
