Thanks to The Teacher's Desk and state funding secured by Assembly Member Monica Wallace, students at Cayuga Heights Elementary now have $12,000 worth of brand new school supplies for the 2024-2025 school year.
The Teacher's Desk dropped off twelve shopping carts filled with new books, core supplies, hygiene items and incentives for the school.
Several students, Interim Superintendent of Schools Dr. Jeffrey Rabey and Assembly Member Monica Wallace were on hand to help unload the supplies.
