CALL CAYUGA HEIGHTS FOR UNIVERSAL PRE-K AND KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION INFORMATION

FOR KINDERGARTEN: Kindergarten registration for the 2025-2026 school year for Cayuga Heights Elementary School is scheduled to take place between March 24 – 27, 2025, from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

To be eligible for kindergarten, a child must be five years old on or before December 1, 2025. The following documents must be provided at the time of registration:

●Immunization Records
●Birth Certificate
●Two (2) Proofs of Residency (i.e. -utility bill, rental agreement, notarized letter stating residency, payroll stub, bank statement, car registration)
●Identification Documentation (i.e. -Driver’s license, Passport)

Call Cayuga Heights Elementary School at (716) 686-5002 for more information and to place your child on the kindergarten registration list. ***Please note, if your child currently attends our UPK Program at Cayuga Heights, you do not need to call to be placed on the list. You will automatically be included in our registration mailing.***

FOR UNIVERSAL PRE-K: Parents interested in registering for the UPK program should also call the school at 686-5002 to be placed on the registration list to receive a registration packet and additional information.

There are a LIMITED NUMBER OF SPOTS for this program.

UPK registration packets will only be accepted, in person, 9:30 a.m. -1:30 p.m. from April 21-25, 2025. If the interest exceeds capacity at the registration deadline date (April 25, 2025), a lottery will be held for spots in the program. **Please note that you must be a current district resident and your child must turn four years old on or before December 1, 2024 to be eligible for the program

Proof of Residency is required.
District policy requires residency documentation for all new students even when siblings are already attending Depew schools.
ONLY a parent or legal guardian can register a student for enrollment in our district.

All students residing in the district should be registered with Depew UFSD regardless of where they are attending school.

You must also provide the following items to register a new student:

• Proof of Residency

• Parent/Guardian Identification

• Previous school information (e.g. report card, school name, address, phone)

• Copy of Immunizations

• Copy of Birth Certificate

Once you have the packet completed and have all necessary documentation, please contact the school to make an appointment.
