As stated in the eligibility section of the Policies & Procedures for Participation in Interscholastic Athletics, New York State Public High School Athletic Association mandates that all athletes have a physical examination prior to trying out for a school team. All approved physicals are good for one year from the date of the exam. Announcements concerning physicals are heard in the buildings, seen on posters, and heard from coaches, as well as posted on this website. Approved physicals can be obtained in the high school and from your personal physician. No student will be allowed to practice without a physical and a Health History card. The school physician has final say in determining physical eligibility for athletic participation.
